Have you meditated on this last quote we gave you to help you sleep well?
” We are such stuff as dreams are made of; and our little life is rounded with sleep.”
Some philosophers believe our day starts by sleep. While our physical body is at rest, our energetic bodies that science is discovering and measuring today are regenerated. This is why it is so important to sleep well.
Strategies for Better Sleep
To get good rest, do not sleep in a noisy environment, such as with your TV on. Your brain registers everything and is disturbed from its so important work to regenerate itself and your physical body. Sleeping in a calm, peaceful environment will help you wake up refreshed.
Before you go to bed, are you already putting into practice deep ventral breathing? 20 of these breaths are enough, particularly if you intentionally slow the in and out rhythm down.
Use your mind to feel safe and to sleep well. If there is something that is bothering you, decide on a solution that will help either solve the problem or get closer to its positive ending. And then count your blessings.
Count Your Blessings
Yes, count your blessings to help you sleep well! We all have them but often we take them for granted. Try to find at least 3 reasons for feeling blessed and with time you’ll find more and more. For example:
- You have a roof over your head.
- There is running water in your house.
- There are friends who care for you.
- You have the ability to reach out to specialists that can help you be in better health or people helping you to reach your goals.
When you have focused for a few minutes on your blessings, extend your consciousness to the world and send thoughts of harmony, forgiveness and happiness. That will help you feel better and will reinforce any other positive thoughts from many people like you who are doing that to help our humanity. We know how much we’re linked to one another and your happiness will inspire others. So be happy and sleep well!
