While traditional therapy often focuses on talking through issues, our program combines cognitive approaches with neurological retraining techniques. We work directly with your brain’s response patterns to anxiety triggers, creating lasting change at the physiological level. Our methods get fast results, are structured, and have measurable results. Our brain training can be combined with conventional talk therapy.
Our program works with or without medication. Many clients who were previously medication-dependent have been able to reduce or eliminate their need for anxiety medications after completing our program (always in consultation with their prescribing physician). However, we never recommend stopping prescribed medications without medical supervision.
Most clients report noticing initial improvements within 2-3 weeks of starting the program. These early changes typically include better sleep, reduced physical symptoms, and more awareness of anxiety triggers. Significant, lasting changes are generally experienced by the 8-12 week mark. However, everyone’s journey is unique, and we customize our approach based on your specific progress.
Many clients are able to use out-of-network benefits or HSA/FSA funds for our program. We provide all necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. During your free consultation, we can discuss financial options and any current promotions that might help make the program more affordable.
The program includes typically two 50-minute sessions with your specialist, plus recommended but not mandatory 15-20 minutes of daily practice exercises. The daily practices are designed to fit easily into your schedule and can often be incorporated into existing routines. Most clients find that the time investment decreases as they become more familiar with the techniques. Also, with our brain training programs, your brain becomes better organized, and you achieve more without feeling overwhelmed. So we add time to your daily schedule instead of taking time out of it.
Our program is effective for most types of anxiety, including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, health anxiety, cognitive anxiety (a mental component of anxiety such as fear of failure, low self-esteem), situational anxiety (emotional component of anxiety), body anxiety (physical component of anxiety), chronic anxiety (family and educational background) and even anxiety related to specific phobias. We also work with clients who experience anxiety alongside other conditions like depression or ADHD. During your consultation, we’ll determine if our approach is right for your specific situation.
